Caught on camera: Raul Asencio furious with himself for giving away Al Hilal penalty

 


Raul Asencio had a rough outing in Xabi Alonso’s first game as Real Madrid manager in the 1-1 draw against Al Hilal.


The Spanish centre-back made a silly error in giving away a cheap penalty to the Saudi club in the first half.


That allowed them to score an equalizer and get back into the game, with Asencio making an unnecessary foul inside the box.


The Spaniard appeared to be furious with himself for having made that error leading to the penalty goal for Ruben Neves.


As the players were heading into the dressing room during half-time, some cameras caught the reaction of the centre-back.


He looked to be quite frustrated with his actions, as the centre-back grabbed the back of his neck in anger before going into the back.

Asencio had a decent outing in the second half, but too many errors could cause him to lose his starting role at Real Madrid.
